Lindsay Hoyt Hunt is a native of Rome. Following in the footsteps of her father and grandfather, she went into college with the intent to pursue a law degree. After completing an internship at a firm out of Marietta as well as The Hoyt Firm - her family’s law practice, Lindsay reflected on her time spent within the legal system and decided to seek her own path. Following graduation, Lindsay worked in technology sales in Charlotte, N.C., specifically lease accounting sales - where she dealt with clients and built relationships inside different real estate and manufacturing companies.
Despite her ventures outside of Rome, there was always something about Rome’s small town that seemed to pull her back. In 2022, Lindsay returned to Rome where she married her husband, Jacob - also a Rome native - to join their families and build a life together. Lindsay has said, “she has found clarity and community in coming home.”
With many family members active in Rome real estate, Lindsay was always interested in the possibilities that could potentially present themselves in the diverse industry. After obtaining her real estate license in August of 2022, Lindsay continues to utilize her strong interpersonal skills to be an effective communicator that successfully approaches different relationships and situations. Lindsay also gravitates toward the home staging and design side of real estate, as the daughter of an interior designer. She enjoys working with sellers to prepare their homes to be sold and to drive a successful and quick selling process.
Lindsay attended Kennesaw State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and obtained a degree in Organizational and Professional Communication. She was a four-year HOPE scholarship recipient and made the President’s and Dean’s lists each semester. She maintains her membership in the Golden Key International Honour Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
In her free time, you might find Lindsay working out at Orangetheory Fitness, hanging out with family, or walking downtown Rome with her husband and their Great Pyrenees, Koda.
